Earlier this week, Wired.com reported on a new fear that Pentagon researchers are buzzing about: MMO Terrorism. I'm jokingly calling this tactic "MMOMJ" (Massively Militant Online Muhammad Jihad); as politically incorrect as that may be.
Essentially the fear is that Terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda might use popular games like World of WarCraft to plan strikes against their enemies. The question is -- are these reports from the Pentagon simply giving MMO's bad press or is there some truth to them?

The presentation that was released during the Director of National Intelligence Open Source Conference was made public and does admittedly contain some very convincing "fictional" scenarios. Consequently, many 'un-educated attendees' we're very likely convinced that their children may in fact be playing in an online world with Terrorists!
