Interesting article. Kinda shocking to see in a 1st-world country in the 21st century. At least the modern tents are better than the 1930's ones...

Hmmm.

Jobless, Homeless, Mexican, Southwest US. Of course he can still buy his smokes at 5-6 dollars a pack!

They chose the perfect person to put a photo of to make most people give a damn!

They don't cost $5-$6 everywhere, you know... Here, I can get major-label smokes for $3.79/pack.

Of course, many if not most homeless people roll their own, which costs slightly more than $1/pack, or they bum smokes off of passersby.

And the guy in the photo is in Iowa.
