Maybe this if I were more delicate. It's very feminine and sweet.

I really like that, and since her jewelery box is full of pearls, I'm pretty sure she'll like it too. Maybe I'll get her bracelet to go with it.

Thanks a lot for all the advice.

It ends up being a *tiny* bit more than you were planning on spending, but if you like it, this ring and this necklace are a nice set.

How serious is this relationship? The heart pendant will send more of a life-time commitment type message than the yin-yang.

I'm not sure if this is a 'duh' comment or not, but the yin-yang shown is only the pendant. DON'T present it to your girlfriend on a black cord (you'll need to get a silver chain;)

Yeah, I don't usually even like gold and I like that. I would rather it didn't have the writing on it though. I know, I'm dull.

I love that rose and pearl necklace you found Flea. I believe I'm printing that out as a hint to the hubby for my birthday present.

Jewelry is such my downfall. I need a new jewelry box, it's overflowing.

Edit: Oh, and Flea, Ross Simon is just simply the bestest place. I get their catalogs and I salivate when their clearance catalogs come in the mail.

Edit2: Oh!!!!!!! That necklace has a matching ring!!!!! /swoon

Sorry if my reply is too late for your shopping trip. This is my first excursion into this forum.

So far, out of all the choices I have seen, I still like your second choice from the OP. It's simple but elegant, and can be dressed up or down with equal ease.

For the next gift giving event, you can sneak it to a local jeweler and have earrings made to match :)

See, now for you I'd pick out something different. You could carry some heavy artillery on that rack. In a perfect world,PaDow. Less expensive but still fantastic, and affordable.

The "love" pendant would be awesome for Mother's Day.

Well, after going through and jewellery box and seeing enough pearls to fill up a small ship, I ended up buying her this one. I think it's quite cute and classy and sophisticated, but more importantly, I've got the receipt so she can always change it if she disagrees.

When does she get it?

Oh, she'll love it.

The adjustable chain is nice. Makes it much more versatile.

She gets on the day of her birthday, which is the 30th. Which happens to also be my birthday, though she's a year older. It's a bit weird sharing a birthday, but I figured if twins can get used to it, so can we.
