Only if he doesn't want to be ridiculed while talking about the game and Philly's inability to beat an over-hyped team.

Correct, I had 2 windows up and I meant it to be in "out of topic"

My bad… and Heaven forbid someone makes a simple mistake.

Obviously you never make a mistake. Please guide me as you seem to be a wonderful source of mentorship.

I didn't say anything about any team, I stated that it was one hell of a game. And it was… FACT! If anyone watched it they would know what I meant. There is a reason it was the single most watched cable TV program ever.

Do your research and read before you react…

“Dallas-Philly showdown draws 18.6 million viewers, highest ever for cable”

I'd watch more football (it was football right?) if they included exploding pigskins.

Because fans of any Philly team are suckers for punishment. That's why.

I'm not saying it wasn't a good game, but the quality of the game has nothing to do with how many viewers it draws. The Super Bowl is usually good evidence of this. The game is usually pretty lackluster, but draws more viewers than anything else.

Also, I didn't think it was a GREAT game; for a game to be considered great in my opinion it has to have something riding on it. Yeah Cowboys/Eagles have a rivalry and they're both contenders for the NFC East, but this wasn't a playoff game or a division-deciding game. You really shouldn't ever state an opinion as fact. There are many people out there who prefer a football game to be played well on all sides of the ball, rather than watching a touchdown fest; after a while the touchdowns don't really mean anything.

On a side-note, I thought Jackson's bonehead play at the goal line was hilarious. What a stupid moron, I wanted the Cowboys to at least hold them to a field goal there so bad.

I disagree on having to have something riding on it. Carolina vs SD was a great game. The last 5 minutes anyway. Denver vs SD, same thing.

I AGREE because the Super Bowl is more about tradition and a reason to throw a party then the game it’s self most of the time... IMO

I DISAGREE because there are good games that are non playoff games if that’s your “something riding on it” view.
