It's interesting to see what's considered a good performance in an interview and how hostile a presenter should be allowed to be to someone either in or running for government. I think Obama v O'Reilly was overboard but great to watch whereas Palin v Gibson was mediocre at best. But neither can touch Scotland's First Minister when Newsnight (the BBC's heavyweight politics show) lay into him. Repeatedly:
