Why don't you call the police?

What's the cutoff for loud noises in your county? My equivalent is the "Local Council" noise rules. So if a sound is disturbing me from a neighbor after 10pm, I can call either the Local Council or the police for someone to come round and tell the neighbor to quieten down.

I download "sounds of nature" mp3s and put them on my mobile when it's too noisy / I just need to relax. 50 minutes of rain in some forest works great, especially with earplug shaped headpohnes that block out all outside noise.

If that doesn't seem likely, kill the mans.

If calling the police doesnt work time delay explosive charges can.
Or maybe you can casually mention the address to the person who broke into your apartment. Dont forget to mention the nice Tv.

I hear you. My neighbor here had a yappy dog that they'd let bark ALL night and ALL day. Unfortunantly (or not so) it died from being left out in the weather. I feel bad it died but damn am I glad it shut up.

Why must you be such an angry young man?

Everything ok, Kao? You seem tense lately.

If you blow up the wall and kill him, you can double the size of your apartment.

If possible locate the breaker for your floor/building. When the asshat is getting out of line flip the switch.
Luckily, I don’t have load people to worry about, just dear using my yard as a litter box and bed.

Best of Luck

This somewhat reminds me of a few nights ago when hubby and I were getting frisky in bed. Our daughter bangs on our bedroom door, opens it, throws her stuffed animal at us and said "Daddy, just let Mommy sleep!"

Situation has been resolved. They claim they "fell asleep" watching the tv, and the volume somehow magically increased at midnight for no apperent reason. Yeah. Right.

At least the appartment people claim they yelled at them which is about all i'll get out of it. Police won't do **** around here in an appartment unless it is a violent or theft related crime. For sound misdemeanors they require permission of the appartment owners to go on site apperently. I'm thinking the violent part could be arranged if it happens again.

But it shouldn't be a problem anymore... Anyone want to buy about 125lb worth of bone-in pork chops? Free shipping!

It is going ok, A little slow at the moment because the parents are proposing that I purchase their existing house if they upgrade to a larger, more wheelchair accessable unit, thus saving them from having to renovate the place and giving me a good sized house in my price range for significantly less than I would pay for the same house from a non parental seller, so at the moment i'm waiting for them to find something they like, and for them to make up their minds if they really want to go that route.

Other than that, I have 4 other potential houses that I'm looking at closer. 2 are more of a fixer-uper type project, but with relitivly large yards and sound structure / foundations. The first just needs some kitchen and exterior work, then upgrades inside as I have time. The second is in a little bit worse shape, but it has a very large kitchen already (not well appointed, but good potential). Would need new flooring throughout most of the house since the existing carpet is thrashed (would probably go with wood flooring and tile instead anyways), some wall work inside, things like that. It does have a brand new roof though.

The other two I was looking at are about the same size house, but slightly smaller yards and not really any fixing required besides some landscaping. Whatever house I get i'm going to wire for just about every electronic device known to man, so the wall work in the fixer uppers doesn't really bother me. The two newer ones do have natural gas, and with my propensity for accidentally making things explode that worries me slightly.

so thats where things are currently, just a matter of time.

Sorry, just lack of sleep and stupidness at other job. We're in a statewide government purchasing freeze (which is exactly as stupid as it sounds) and there has been some talk of layoffs. I wouldn't be affected by those, but its still kind of stressfull I guess.

Sorry if i've been grumpy. I shouldn't posty when i'm sleep deprived and ready to defenstrate the next door neighbors.

Oh, the beautiful luxury of having neighbors. I'm happy you got this crap resolved.

The two neighbors I have own dogs that are very stupid and noisy. They told me Friday: "I have good news for you! Our dog bit our daughter and we got it killed!."

In my mind that wasn't good news, I asked how their daughter was and apparently she is fine and I saw no marks in her face.

Saturday upon arriving at my apartment, lo and behold the new pup which will soon become my new nemesis.

I love pets, but these turds don't know how to treat/raise them and end up keeping me up at night, well actually I am pretty much desensitized to it now, I actually need noisy pets to fall asleep now. :D

...holy **** a chipmunk just came in my office.

The obvious solution is to have a flying house.
