I hope the experiment on 9/10 by Particle collider won't cause a new version and world wide catastrophic 9/11 event to seal the mankind's existance.

I think even if nothing goes wrong and they finally get to see the result, they will become disappointed. I believe, it would be a mandlebrot. The deeper they dig, they will see the smaller particles. It is infinite. There is no end to infinite. Man was not meant to play GOD without conseqeuences.

He was, otherwise we wouldn't have the means to. Like, you know, ants.

I've heard them say they'd be even happier if they didn't find the Higgs thingy, since it would mean most of the theory is kinda wrong, and they therefor would have to start again.

I think it's absolutely brilliant that we're looking into things like this, and the further we go the better. Understanding the fundemental structure of our universe, and, in mnay ways, our existence, is one of the most fascinating thing there is.

At least for a pot-smoker like me.

You think ants aren't building a supercollider?

Now who's being naive?

In light of this information, I propose we test this technology first hand before we go about making wild speculations. I suggest a collision of the particles of my foot with the atoms of your ***, whereby we can extrapolate the results to a much larger scale and see just how devastating tomorrow will be.
