This story made me laugh out loud at lunch. Check out the differences in how Palin and Rendell handled selling their airplanes.

Maybe tomorrow she'll tell us she sold it on eBay," said Obama campaign spokesman Tommy Vietor.

Works for me...

Practical upshot is that Palin used eBay, failed to sell it and then took a $600,000 drop (against the asking eBay price) selling through a broker. Rendell put an ad in a couple aeronautic trade journals for $700 total and made a couple hundred grand profit on his plane's purchase price.

This scares me. A lot. I'm not too worried that the method of selling the airplane was inefficient. If we were going to vote Palin in to, say, run a small business I'd say this is a serious problem. However, if you have an army of people to do the details for you, I'm most concerned whether or not you (1) get good people and (2) actually listen to them.

Pure baldfaced lying is not a great way to begin. It may work wonders with voters, however.
