WASILLA, Alaska (CNN) -- For more than two decades, vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was a practicing Pentecostal....like many Pentecostal churches, some members speak in tongues...

Now I really can't wait until the debates!

Her campaign says she doesn't mix her faith with government business. But Palin did ask her audience to pray for a $30 billion natural gas pipeline she is on a mission to build in Alaska.

Are you sh*tting me? It's going to great to pray for the economy! I sure hope Gawd decides to work on the housing slump!

I'm pretty sure he'd get that wrong too, so it'd be OK.

The context of "God damn America" was that we let 2,000 of our own citizens die due to criminal negligence during Katrina. Wright was using "damn" in the Biblical sense, asking for divine retribution against the people who allowed this to happen.

Theology is fun. Earlier today I decided that all smokers are going to hell because it's a form of slow suicide.

Need a rluing from someone please.

It only counts as suicide if it succeeds right? Attempted but failed is still OK?

And when the state lacks sufficient resources or is overwhelmed in a natural disaster, the federal government has an agency called FEMA that is supposed to step in and help.

If they're not too busy attending horse shows, or some such.

I had a friend that spoke in tongues. When I discovered it, when I was around 11, I wouldn't spend the night at her house anymore. And FYI, I used to tour Maine singing "Yes, Jesus loves me" with some Baptist choir, so I wasn't uncomfortable with religion. It just freaked me out. God, it'd be perfect if we had a leader who spoke in tongues. Why even be at the religious center when you can be an extremist?

If you die from a cause directly associated with smoking, it is a successful suicide attempt. So lung cancer, oral cancer, emphyzema, etc. Hope you enjoy an eternity of devil servitude.

But if you get hit by a car tomorrow, you're in the clear!

State responsibility, not federal. Thank you very much Democrats of LA

I think you are saying that in your opinion it should be the state responsibility.

Which is fine.

It is not the reality now, nor was it then. You see, there is this agency called FEMA, and this is what they, by law, do.

Don't substitute your opinion for reality. Or simply fail to distinguish between the two. It is what gbaji normally does.

I assume she is for full gay marriage rights then, since without recourse to religion, there is no opposition. Oh wait...
