In the interview she also stated that she'd leave the door open to attacking Russia in order to protect our NATO ally, Georgia.

Georgia isn't IN NATO, of course.

I'd take more issue with the fact that she wants to attack Russia, than the fact that she doesn't know who is and isn't in NATO.

Sure, but if she doesn't know who is in NATO, how will she know when we need to invade Russia?

Why would she think a war with Russia is necessary? I mean, she was/is governor of Alaska, I'm sure she has a good rapport with their leaders since she was so instrumental in foreign policy decisions with them.

Amirite?

She's never met a foreign leader. Meeting foreign leaders is for establishment chumps.

She's a rebel.

Then why is there actually a betting line on when Obama will replace Biden on the ticket? You did know that didn't you?
You know they did the same with Palin, right?

[quote=knoxsouthy]Shadowbrain,

Then why is there actually a betting line on when Obama will replace Biden on the ticket? You did know that didn't you?

-------------------------------------------------------------

you herd that where? on fox news? rofl.

first, i love the way you switch subjects after being schooled on your position. classical republican style. nice work.

im absolutly POSITIVE your republican sources, fox news, the radio stations that tell you everything you need to know, the lot of them are hamming up every possible notion of how the dems are falling apart and the repubs are vastly superrior.

biden a bad choice. rofl, only a repub would even voice that absurdity, especially after the palin interview. the dems are behind biden 100 percent. a fantastic choice. it shows obama is making a sincere effort to build an outstanding team to sove our problems.

and what does mccains choice show? a political gimmick. win the election at all cost even at the expense of putting someone in the whitehouse who is....clueless. clueless is exactly the immage viewers took away from the palin interview.

yes i know, the repub pundits will downplay it, and like i do with my soccer team full of 8 year olds, they will exhault the one thing she did right and hold it up like a banner so the home team keeps chanting "we are the champions" and try selling the interview as an oustanding sucess least they turn off some of the base.....

but the dems and the independants wont be fooled they saw incompetance. they saw clueless. they saw mccain,s GIMICK as just what it was, a GIMICK. they saw in that interview that mccain would put the best interest of his country in jepordy with palin just to win an election.

spinn that,

I really have nothing to add, except to state that as a woman, I'm offended that this could even be seen as a sexist remark. It's ridiculous. I guess the women that see it this way are the kind that need their [baby talk]big, stwong man to shelter them fwom the cwuel world.[/baby talk] And I have no use for that.

Shadow,

The Dems are terrified of Palin, and they should be. She has energized the GOP base while reaching out to disaffected Clinton supporters. Even in that hit piece interview Palin handled herself well by not falling into the traps Gibson threw at her. Biden is most certainly not looking forward to the debate.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

yep, thats the same party line i hear from every pundit on fox news.

not terrified anymore. not after last night. we have seen her metel, or lack if it to be more precise.

and a large chunk of "disaffected" clinton supporters are the dem biggots who wont vote for obama because he is black, not because they were so overwhelmed with clinton. obama was never going to get their votes. ever. woman or no woman. toss in a repub red neck woman who can shoot a rifle.....you think despite the spinn from the repubs that those "dissaffected" biggots are not exactly why palin is on the ticket and not a republican woman with REAL credentials?

she is there for the "women before country" voters and the bigot factor. she is the repubs answer for the race card.

and inspite of those types of voters, it is still down to ohio. and obama is leading in ohio by 5 points. reguardless of mccain actually gets the majority vote with the bigots and the "women first" voters.

its about ohio. and ohio is obamas to loose right now.

palin is no longer a factor. the votes she brought mccain were votes obama was never going to have anyway. he lost nothing. mccain gained nothing. and because of that interview, she is now a liability.

Despite atrocious grammar and a real brain block involving the quote function, Shadowrelm is actually fairly astute.
