Every time I see her, I can't help but think she looks like an evil sidekick for some guy trying to take over the world in a cheesy hero movie or something.

Yeah, I did. I wondered about that and thought maybe he grabbed her around the hips because he has trouble raising his arms. I guess it was planned beforehand that the men were supposed to bookcase the ladies.
I think maybe the stepford wife look might come from Cindy's hairstyle, which to this man's (and thus basically stupid whe it comes to women's fashions) sense of what women wear seems a bit young for her age, although she carries it well due to a quite youthful apearance.
