This makes me so angry!

Quote:
In the Queen's speech this autumn Gordon Brown's government will announce a scheme to institute a database of every telephone call, email, and act of online usage by every resident of the UK. It will propose that this information will be gathered, stored, and "made accessible" to the security and law enforcement agencies, local councils, and "other public bodies".

No doubt most of us will be sitting in the pub slagging off foreigners, or sitting on the sofa slagging off the telly to give a toss, but, really,

WTF!!

V for Vendetta? What?

Sadly, in real life, people would just be terrified by V and beg the government to monitor them even more closely.

After all, they have nothing to hide, right?

Oh Marc Singer...I had inappropriate fantasies about you as an adolescent.

I see I've said too much.

The only reason I ever watched it as a kid was because my mother liked it. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have ever heard of it otherwise.

The person who managed to get these words past his/her lips and mean it should be taken to a psychiatrist immediately. It's going to be a bureaucratic mess and they know it.

And now back to staring at Paulsol's avatar Smiley: drool2
why doesn't it go further! Damn you, Paul!

So, what inappropriate things does an 11 year old want to do Marc Singer? Show him your Barbies? Read Nancy Drew together under the covers? I confess I'm baffled.

I do. But what happens in the US, happens in the UK the following year, and what happens in the UK, generally gets to NZ about 25-30 years later.

Im angry for my children.

Yeah, and completely clueless about human sexuality and when people become aware of it. WOW. Were you really under the impression that when your daughter was 11, her ******** was a giant mystery to her and she was an androgynous TV child who never had thoughts of sex? Yikes.
