is a moody action adventure / gangster / comedy film set in an ancient, beautiful Belgium town called Bruges.

Plot: Two Irish hitmen are sent to Bruges to lie low after a recent hit, where the younger of the duo (Colin Farrell) ****** up big time. The story unfolds as their boss's plan for making amends becomes clear.

It also has a comedic dwarf who plays a pretty big role, and two beautiful french / belgium girls for additional eye candy.

This film rocks.

You should. There's no excuse for missing a film with the line "Two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I'm out of here."

Highly recommend this film. Great, dark comedy (the dark is damn dark, be warned). I thought Colin Farrell did an awesome job and hope to see him do more comedy...you know, intentional ones, not his normal serious stuff.

Ralph Fiennes almost steals the movie, he was brilliant.

It wasn't a bad movie, but nothing special imo either. Very nice scenes of Bruges itself, that is definitely well done.

That dwarf is the best part of the movie I'ld say.

It wasn't really targetted for the American audiences, lacking easily definable characters and amusing circus noises / **** references indicating it's time for you to laugh.

Hmm, someone is an elitist prick. The movie started out slow and stayed that way. Not to mention that Colin Ferrell's character is pretty much the exact same character that he plays in every single movie he's ever been in.

Actually, the movie started out great and continued that way. It was not what I expected, to say the least, but once I got past the fact that it wasn't your normal run of the mill movie, I quite enjoyed it. I think YSU was right in that it wasn't main stream drivel.
