Today Obama hit the 50% mark in Gallup and the 51% mark in Rasmussen daily polling. The highest levels of support for either candidate all season, the first time either has hit or exceeded 50% and the first time a true majority of Americans have showed a preference for either candidate.

I know Varrus and Totem were really excited when McCain was up in that one poll so I thought they'd be excited about these polls as well.

/sniff, sniff
That's the smell of urine dribbling down the legs of Righties all across the country.

Janitors are not getting paid enough during this election. Which candidate will lead us into making sure they get fair wares?

Just thought I'd save him the trouble of having to post that nugget of logic again.

If Obama wins by 5, the Republicans here will say that it doesn't count because it wasn't double digits.

What I really want to happen is for a state's election results to be fishy and then the Supreme Court gives the election to Obama.

Obama needs to be ahead by like 100,000,000,000 to -999,999,999,999 to be even money.

Really? You want a country that is seen as racist to get its first black president as a result of a court decisions as opposed to as a result of the people's vote?

No, he'd like to see white folks try and illegally steal the election and a black guy win in court. For the novelty, I assume.

Don't be silly. If he wins by 5 it'll be because the MEDIA!!!! poisoned voters minds with liberal bias making it a hostile environment for the GOP where a generic Democrat would have won by 20, thus the reality is that it was a 15 point McCain landslide.

Count on it.

No, I just want to see Fox News scramble and try to explain how Obama "stole" the election and Bush didn't.

But in all seriousness, I don't even want it to be close to be honest.

This is true.

That damn media, just destroying America one channel at a time. Thank god Fox News can cut through the LIES and FILTH.

My boss this summer actually told me that the economy was doing great but that since everyone heard in the media that it was in for hard times, everyone just perceived that it really isn't in good shape. As close to a quote as I can:

My boss wrote:
They always interview people on TV who say things like, "well I'm doing fine but I've been told that the economy is much worse, so I guess it is."

Your boss should join the McCain camp. He can tell America that the economy is fine and we're just a nation of whiners.

He says that he's undecided but whenever politics came up he always talked about the good policies of Bush that he'd like to see continue and how bad of a choice Obama could be.

mccains vp pick was a gift to the dems.

fox news has been trying to sell her....to the repubs....non stop since he named her. a true bipartisan decision that pleased both camps. also a true indication of his ability to make a good decision.
#21REDACTED, Posted: Sep 02 2008 at 2:19 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Yeah, I'm a McCain fan, but his VP pick kinda shot himself in the foot a bit.... I mean, part of the reason Clinton didn't get the nomination is she is a woman (let me finish before you start flaming me). The McCain camp knew this so they went out and got a woman from Alaska (of all places) to be the VP elect. People are going to think, hmm, McCain is old, if he dies we are going to have a female President. Whereas on the other side, Obama is black with a white VP, if he dies (for some unspoken reason) then we will have an older white VP. Hm... I forgot the point of this post....

I could go on all day talking to myself here but I have work to do...earning my money and enjoying the fruits of my labours, besides, I have to get ready for that awe inspiring speech Palin will be giving tonight.

Good luck with that.

Also, if you mail me 10 washcloths, I'll put your name at the top of the list, and you'll receive 100 in short order.

It better be good seeing as how the campaign has had the poor girl sequestered for the past five days practicing it. I'll be more impressed with how she does in interviews (which they've kept her hidden from so far) as opposed to reciting something Steve Schmidt wrote for her and spent the last week beating into her head.

You mean Alaskan Oil, which would be foreign soon enough with Palin as VP.
