Maybe McCain should have vetted PalinFollow

Knox I've never known you to shy away from responding to a post, especially when you've been called out. I guess I really made you realize that Israelis attacking Arabs with America's support really isn't any different than if China supported Native American attacks on America.

Then why isn't there a provision for the mother's life in a partial birth abortion ban? Seems like a choice to favor the child over the woman, to me.

And what happens when two people didn't choose to conceive? Do you honestly think that a woman gets pregnant only when a man and a woman choose to have a baby? It doesn't work that way, sorry.

You took that out of context. I was talking about a govn having a responsibility to protect it's citizens from foreign/domestic aggressors. Teaching morality does not fall under that umbrella. Until we get back to teaching personal responsibility and ending welfare that perpetuates this cycle of poverty in the ghetto's it does no good to hand out condoms and say use it wisely.

It's sad that you think pro-life people are simply trying to devalue women when that couldn't be further from the truth. All life has value, none more than another.

Since when is teaching a person how their body works and how to practice safe sex teaching morals of any kind?

Even in Pinko Liberal Britainland, if a candidate was found to have sympathies with (never mind being a recent member of) a cessation party, she'd be transported to the colonies.

Let me check this:
a) Minimal experience oin office
b) Preaches old fashioned family values but rears a shagaholic daughter
c) Claims to represent an All American party yet sympathises with a party committed to denouncing America
d) Virus thinks she's awesome.

Within 6 months she'll be 4th billing on a celeb Game show panel after Vanilla Ice, Peewee Herman and the black dude with the Sound FX voices off of the Police academy movies .

Good news all round. I make it Pimms O'Clock! Smiley: grin

Sure, when a strong independent father rapes his beautiful baby girl, she should absolutely be forced to bear his retarded kid.

The cirrrrcle of life....

It's a stupid analogy. Now if you said France supporting indian attacks on americans you might have something, of course that actually happened.

How is it a stupid analogy? Because it destroys your argument?

The Native Americans (Israelis) want their land back so they get support from another nation, China (USA) to fight back and try to gain their land back. The Americans (Palestinians/Arabs) then fight back against China (America) so they stop getting killed.

The only difference between the two scenarios is that America would attack with a full scale war instead of flying two planes into 2 buildings (which would kill much more than 3000 Chinese civilians...easily). So, are you saying that if America was as (un)powerful as Palestine and China chose to help the Native Americans, we wouldn't respond in any way? If we had a pitiful army, what would we do? Surrender?

You're about to vote for one. Hahaha, just kidding, we know you don't vote.

Palin is in favor of forcing a women who was raped, and just to hammer it home for you, let's say a 13 year old white girl is raped by a giant black escaped convict, she is in favor of law forcing the girl to deliver the tainted half black mud child.

Hahahahahaha. Ahh, racists are funny.

This is even better:

She's even against abortion for rape victims if it was her own daughter

Most people I know, including myself, aren't against aborting the child if the mothers life is in danger; that's a liberal myth. Of course I heard a statistic that something like that occurs in well less than 1% of pregnancies.

I had understood that there was no provision under the Partial Birth Abortion ban for the life of the mother. Upon looking into it, I was wrong on that. My mistake.

Excluding rape it does happen like that. And I don't know too many people that are for making a woman carry the baby of a rapist to term.

Sarah Palin wants to ban abortion unless the life of the mother is at risk. Rape is not an important enough issue for her, apparently.

However, denying a woman this medical procedure, the right to choose this medical procedure without stipulations to rape or health concerns, is still a slight to women.

And could I suggest at this point that there is no point trying to reason with varrus any more than there is any point in reasoning with any other rabid fundamentalist. They are all spoon dangling dimwits with nary an independant thought in their heads.

Its best just to intermittently let him shoot himself in the forehead with his idiotic and tortuous explanations as to why everyone except him is brainwashed and unable to see 'reality'.

Gbaji does it to, but with more words.

If you ask varrus nicely, he'll tell you all about how Jesus talks to him.

Carry on.

Better? You really should read more. A govn's sole duty is to protect it's citizenry. That's it end of story. If another country threatens that sovereignty it's the duty of our govn to end that threat by whatever means. Now I know you like to imagine these women/children are just helpless victims but that couldn't be further from the truth. If your enemy straps a bomb to a child and tells them to go hug a US soldier and the US soldier shoots the kid before the child gets to them do you consider that murder? Is it out of bounds to kill women who provide aid/comfort to those terrorist that make IED's designed to murder US soldiers?

It's sad but you really have no concept of war.

Well, duh. If Russia wants to attack the US, they need to have at least 2 infantry on Kamchatka, roll a 6, and march across the land bridge.

Hey. Turns out she never was a member of the AIP in the first place, and the guy being quoted on DailyKos is backing off on his original claims...

Fringe left making stuff up to create a bogus scandal? Nah! Couldn't be!

You guys did bite on that hard though. Makes one wonder just how scared the Left is about Palin to do something like this so fast and so early.
