Disgruntled Clinton voters for McCain? Not so fastFollow

#1 Aug 28 2008 at 6:46 AM Rating: Good
I listen to WAMU at work online, and the Diane Rehm show plays there since she's based out of DC.

They had a Clinton supporter call in, saying she could never vote for Obama because it should have been a woman on the ticket. When asked if she was voting for McCain, she said this:

"Oh no. I've voted Democrat all my life. And I know he was in a box for eight years [sic] and I'm really sorry that happened to him, but I wouldn't want someone like that with his finger on the button. I think he's a little warped, to be honest."

She went on to say she's probably going to write in Clinton in protest, or maybe vote for Cynthia McKinney instead.

Those 18 million cracks are, for the most part, smart enough not to vote for McCain.

Also, ( I believe I heard the broadcast to which you refer), don't underestimate the stupid, vindictive spite of millions of scorned women. A lot of those cougars out there are really PUMAs.

I give women more credit for intelligence than that.

And a decent number of those PUMAs are Republicans in disguise. It's called a ratfuck.

That is exactly what Hillary wants. If enough of those cracks sit out the election or write in Hillary, she wins. For Hillary to come out ahead, Obama has to lose this election. She just needs to look like she is supporting him while her machine quietly sits out the election or writes in her name thus handing the election to McCain. If McCain wins, she can run against him in 4 years. Obama wins and Hillary is out of it for 8 years and probably forever cause in 8 years she will be old news and a bunch of other new challengers will be looking for the spot.

You're crazy if you think Hilary Clinton truly wants McCain to win

Though probably still not smart enough to vote at all.

PS: To elaborate, I'm talking about people who would vote mccain or any other non-obama candidate simply because hilary didn't receive the nomination.

They may be smart enough, but they are stuck in the kitchen, pregnant, standing in a tub of water and epsom salt, and cooking dinner.

If they can do that all at once, maybe they should be President.

I'm pretty sure both of those women live in states where the outcome isn't in doubt.

Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Except not really, because I personally know people who are like that, and WI is one of the battleground states.

I think he means on a bigger scale. There are people in Massachusetts who are going to vote for John McCain, but not enough to make a difference.
