You don't like admitting you are wrong. However, if someone points it out, you trot out some lame example, basically, to show that they are wrong about you. Basically, your motivation is to once again, is to not admit wrongness b/c if you looked at your own inflexibility, you'd have to look at the possibility that you're in the wrong.

So for example, if Belkira said to you that your contention that apples are blue were wrong. you'd say that she doesn't speak outside the box. If she said you were inflexible, you'd show here one thread where you admitted some minor incidence of wrong doing, not b/c you are willing to admit that maybe apples aren't blue but b/c you are furthering your idea that apples are blue and you aren't just saying it b/c you are inflexible.

XD It's one of those thoughts that I have that I can't really put succinctly.

So, if I'm reading this right, and I am guilty of pulling examples out to prove that I'm not wrong, what would happen if I pulled out an example to show where I have admitted I was wrong as a way of proving you're wrong about me not admitting when I'm wrong?

Will I open a portal to another world? Will I induce a black hole that would make the scientists at the LHC proud? Or will you simply acknowledge that I am capable of admitting I'm wrong when it's obviously the case?

I do that all the time. Then I just say "***** it" and don't bother to post.

So you accuse me of being a certain way, and even if I can present evidence to show otherwise, you will dismiss it? Do you not see the problem with that?
