Mine is being a real brat lately. If I tell her no, she asks 5 more times. If I tell her she's going to her room if she asks me one more time, she shuts up immediately, but just stands there glaring at me.
After about a min she'll bark out FINE, THEN! I'M NOT LETTING YOU PLAN MY BIRTHDAY PARTY ANY MORE!!!

Too funny. Do you tell her she can plan it herself? Or ask someone else to do it?
The oddest thing that used to happen was maybe six months back or so, when she was about 2 years old, my little girl would thank me after I'd done something which made her cry. Like, say, change her diaper when she didn't want it done. I'd try to coax her into allowing me to do it, try reasoning with her, then give up and just do it, and oh she would flail and cry and then get up and say "thank you" tears streaming down her little face. She now uses the term correctly. But it was just heartbreaking to her her little "thank you".
She's not old enough for the whole "I hate you" thing yet, but I'm sure it's coming. She is such a little drama queen.
