but GOP consultants have more than once faked this sort of thing when the news cycle wasn't going their way:

http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSN2129629620080821

DENVER (Reuters) - A suburban Denver campaign office of U.S. presidential candidate John McCain was evacuated on Thursday, and several people went to a hospital, after receiving an envelope containing a threatening letter and an unidentified white powder, a campaign spokesman said.

How many of my houses will be subject to terrorist attack if we talk about them, I ask you!! How many!!

It was just that excess coke Barry Hussein didn't finish snorting from his college days-- you know, the stuff he all of a sudden realized wasn't good for him. I'm sure it was just in the interests of medicine, what with McCain's war injuries and all.

Why do you keep calling him Barry Hussein? I mean.. I understand the implied connection, but it's old, and nonsensical. Smiley: confused

If they keep repeating Hussein enough, the uneducated amongst them continue to believe he is a Muslim.

Brainwashing the masses, dontcha know.

And, this is why I have always been a proponent of requiring a mandatory IQ tests in order to obtain voting rights.

Ducky, Barry was the name Obama went by in high school and college. He went back to his given name once he entered politics, I assume to give himself gravitas and separate himself from his opponents and peers. I toss the Hussein part in there to twist the noses of his supporters who, I suspect deep down inside themselves, wish he actually did have a more "normal" American, non-polarizing middle name.

The fact you even asked suggests to me that I am right on track.

With names like Shaquita, Amon, Shylow and Dillanger, just what in the HELL is a normal "American" name?

Bill, Suzy, Tim, Brenda, John, Mary, Joe, Jane, Frank... need I go on? Note the normal spelling of these monikers. It's not Byl, Tsuzee, Tiem, 8r3nda, Yan, Merree, Jou, Jain, and Phranc. You know, weird spellings that throw off the DMV when you go for your license.

As it turns out, those are the names of my EQ characters.

Well, except 8r3nda. Wouldn't get past the filter.

Not really. Its pretty clear that a return to white middle class 1950 would be just what the Totes ordered.

Either it was talc, chalk, or the letter writer has terrible dandruff.

I kinda hope it's not the last one.

I live in Georgia (the US state version, these days I better clarify) and there is no such thing as a normal name any more around here. And I think it was someone in Florida that named their child 4Real.

This is why McCain did not want to reveal how many homes he owns, to reduce the risk of terror mail getting the right one.
