How do you pronounce Biden, anyways? Does it rhyme with 'hidden' or is the 'i' long?

Long I.

Or it should be pronounced that way anyway. ;-)

Just imagine his last name is a bisexual sex club in Denver, where the convention will be, that caters to "bears".

Bi as in sexual. Den as in a bear's home.

Yeah, Obama Biden just sounds that much more like Osama bin Laden.

Once again, the democratic party demonstrates that yes, we can lose an election that was basically a sure thing.

Meh, I chose not to pursue a career as a political consultant for a reason. I'm fully aware at all times how disappointing humanity in general is. Calculated decisions designed to manipulate suckers should be less disappointing, however. Perhaps they have some fantastic internal numbers on Biden. Joph's really more representative of the modern Democratic voter than I am. Maybe he's better at reading the suckers, too.

And of course, by "took note of it", he really means she was merely parroting everything she was reading on facebook.

On the upside, the other half managed to snag a record 16 voter registrations tonight at the Terrapin Welcome Back Students beer party. Considering Terrapin is hippie beer, those are probably future Democrat votes.

Unfortunately, I think half of them are illegible because it was, well, a beer party.

And he came home so wasted I had to make him a cup of detox tea and a baked potato before I put him to bed -_-

(Terrapin beer is so gooood.)

The only thing missing is the letters SNLA; which just happens to stand for the Scottish National Liberation Army!(cue dramatic music) Just what the sinister connection is between Obama Biden, Osama Bin Laden and feral Scottish Terrorists, we do not yet know; but we will surely be hearing much, much more about it in the many conspiracy theorist chain emails to come in the next few weeks. In the interim, I would be very wary of any electioneering Scottish Muslims if I were you.

While I think Hilary as VP may have had an impact on the election, I'm not sure that it would have been a good one (for the democrats). I don't think Biden, or most any other white, christian, non-perverted, politician as a running mate will cause much of a stir one way or another.

I predict an attempt on Obama's life while in Denver for the convention.

Hillary would have been a terrible choice. She'd be considered to have bullied herself onto the ticket and would undercut Obama's credibility as a leader. Even if you want to say "What credibility??", he'd still have been worse off.

Nah, Clinton would have been the worst. I say this as someone who generally likes her politics; but she's divisive.

Having Clinton on the ticket would have made the entire rest of the race about Clinton.

Biden is the absolute worst choice Obama could have made.

He's far from the worst choice. He's about the 6th best choice, really.

We're number 6! We're number 6!

Rasmussen sez that only 43% of voters consider Biden "liberal".

Now John Edwards -- that would have been the absolute worst choice Smiley: laugh

Right, that's ideal. Suppresses activist turnout, while not bringing in new voters.

What could be better than that?
