Ok, Klingons had it second. I'm not quite a Trekkie, I just pretend to know a little bit.

Negative refraction... Reversing the doppler effect... Just keep defying everything I learned last year.

Not long before we turn gravity into a positive acceleration.

Well, that's already possible, since of course, positive and negative are just relative directions. Just define negative in the up direction and suddenly you have gravity being a positive acceleration!

When you convince the general public to accept up as negative you have a point.

Well, if the general public is really that dumb, just turn them upside down and ask them "which way is down now?". Obviously they'd say Up since that's where their feet are pointing.

I don't think they are that stupid though.

Not so easy when you keep bouncing in and out of the same 2 orange and blue Portals in the floor.

I'm not a hardcore Trekkie, but the Klingons debuted in the first show, long before the giant elves. Klingons had it first, for viewer purposes anyway. You were right, Varus wasn't. Not sure why you'd think otherwise.

I didn't take his word for it necessarily, but I did go look it up. I didn't search hard though, but I found a really poorly done fan site that had a wall o'text about it. I just skimmed it, and they kind of made it sound like Klingons had it second. But like I said, I was just skimming.

But now I'll take your word for it! Yay!
