I blame Atomicflea(DOESN'T EVEN GAME, FOLLOWED LOSER BF HERE) and DSD* (LETS ALL BE FRIENDS Smiley: flowers

) for the downfall of the Asylum. One never really belonged here and the other was a bit too care bear to really embrace the real Asylum. Add that with the lack of drama bringing people back, the real old timers faded away. It was the great debates, the undying animosity between posters and the continual e-peen stroking that was offered here that brought them back time and again. There was also the failed EQ guild that exploded, people taking the insults thrown around entirely too seriously and the new PG13 status that some how got slapped onto what was meant to be unruly territory.

Now it's past the point of resuscitation and should just be put out of it's misery. The OOT has once again become the prominent forum.

*Not saying I don't like DSD, she'd be a great OOT regular. AF? Yeah, never understood why she was here, why she stayed or why she didn't get run off when it came to light the only game she ever played was bejeweled. Probably doesn't even realize the significance of WASD.

How can single out those two posters for the supposed change that occured in the Asylum? Both have been around for ages, and Flea has certainly always had the edge and bite required for the Asylum. One of her put-downs are easily worth twenty of yours. As for DSD, clearly her posting less hasn't revived anything. It's a ridiculous claim, even by your subpar standards.

Some posters such as yourself clearly get intellectually submerged by this increased maturity, and therefore seek a place where their teenage mentality is more appropriate and welcome. You did ok in the OOT for a while, but even this seems a bit intellectually challenging for you these days.

May I suggest the Unicorn forums?

like I said above, I've been lurking here since 2003. I remember Thundra, Pat, Skeeter, the whole Kao-accused-of-thingy incident, I remember when people were making credile and amusing socks. The Pat v Taco had to do with one of them kicking the other out of the guild, something like that? I used to smoke heavily back then, so you'll have to excuse me if my memory is a bit iffy, especially when it had to do with stuff I had no special interest in.
