It's Friday and I'm having a personal crisis.

I fear I'm turning into a girl because I've begun to covet specific, expensive, shoes. Is it hormones? What do I do? Flea? Thumb? DF? Help!

Try them on.

It can't hurt just to try them on.

Go ahead. Walk around in them.

Go home and change and come back and try them on again.

What can it hurt?

Gaze upon the beauty of your bare feet.

Shoes are for wimps.

Fortunately I've only viewed them (repeatedly) online. They can't make me buy them.

I doubt it. You're only allowed to make me things, remember?

Get cobbling.

Unless they're high heels. Man, those hurt so much! I walk twenty feet and my feet are bleeding, and ready to be amputated. Seriously, I am staying away from high heels from now on.

I'm sticking to Ugg boots.

I pretty much want the full like of Naughty Monkey shoes. I'm particularly enamored with the red and white Scribble Dibbles and any color of the Tallest In Class Wedge.

*sigh* Next thing you know and I'll be fascinated with handbags and want a manicure or something.

I love looking at shoes....online...in the store....in my friends' closets.....

I'm lucky that most of my cousins and I all have the same shoe size so we are constantly borrowing each other's shoes. I have over 200 pairs myself and just promised hubby that I will be getting rid of at least 150 pairs of them.

We got you now Nexa! Once you get on shoes, you'll be looking at bags. Once you start with the bags, you'll be looking at jewelry. I can't wait to be able to talk to you about the pros and cons of Jimmy Choos over Manolo Blahniks and whether Ferragamo is better than Michael Kors for bags. But then again, Ferragamo has a great shoe line as well.

Oh oh oh! We can both go gaga over Christian Louboutin stilettos. And Kenneth Cole boots.

I'm in lust now.

Edit:

Oh!!!!!! A spa day!!! Yes! A spa day for a facial, massage, manicure, pedicure, maybe a good body wrap or scrub. Yes!

I use to love shopping for shoes, until even the most comfortable shoes i own started to hurt every time I went out.

Now the only reason I put on my Clark mules, in the summer is to protect my feet from bee and wasp stings and sharp objects. I love going barefoot when it's safe.

Once it gets cold I'll put on shoes to keep feet warm, but only wear socks around the house.

doesn't stop me from looking at shoes, just wishing I could find ones that are cute and comfortable at the same time while fitting my narrow heel and medium width toes.

I plan to look at a pair of crocs once my Clarks wear out. Don't expect to find them nearly new for $2.50 at yard sale though.

Whenever I buy a pair of shoes, I kick a puppy and it makes me feel less like a gurl. Then I do my nails in black and bemoan my wages.

I'm kidding of course. I adore feeling like a woman. Nothing is sexier than a gal who owns it, whatever that means to you. If anything, Put on your ************************************************************** heels*[/link] and get to steppin, girl. Time's-a-wasting.
