...so it's Saturday night, and I'm sick of politics, and I'm sick of world events, and I'm sick of global warming, and I'm sick of children missing, and I'm sick of kidnappings in Columbia and drought and starvation and disease and heartache....and yet I feel some compulsion, or even moreso...some obligation...some requirement by some unsaid code of human decency to continue to read and see and know about it everywhere because there are people who are miserable and no matter how much I wallow in self-pity because of whatever dissatisfying aspect of my mundane existence...I'm so much better off than most of the world by virtue of sheer, blind, luck.

That's the longest sentence ever. I'd apologize, but I'm already unforgivably drunk.

Happy Saturday.

Consider this: some African family living in a hut with a goat right now is celebrating the happiness of their family, friends and the fact they have a goat.

Probably because they don't watch CNN.

Edited because I misinterpreted the second portion of Nexa's post Smiley: smile

Nexa... Join the Wombat Alliance... Together, we can cast down the shackles that bind the unholy weight of the world to the soul of humanity and start again in the clensing fire of a radioactive canukistan! Give in, it is your... destiny!

Nexa, Shut the door, turn off the TV log, into an MMO and forget the world.

People forget sometimes why they visited this site in the first place.

It would be easier face to face.

And probably more enjoyable.

So many things can be solved by Diablo II. I mean really, what's there to worry about when you can take down 20 undead in 5 seconds?

Well, I guess you can worry that your boyfriend will continue to run off and leave you in dungeons when it's obvious that you have trouble with doors...but other than that...

We cancelled our cable package after spending a week at an island resort that didn't even have phones in the room. Complete relaxation. There was a major hurricane and a stock market crash that happeneds and we could have cared less.

Sometimes it gets boring but I have WoW and she has 6 seasons of CSI that she is working through. And we even have marital relations every once in awhile! Weee!
