Nexa,

Are you actually saying increasing the tax burden of the wealthy will have no adverse effects on the rest of society?

Yes, I believe she is.

So when the upper class taxes are increased you don't think that's going to have some repercussions for the other classes?

Their income and net worth has increased every time this has been done in the history of economics. When taxes on the wealthy are cut, the middle class suffers, also every time. It's a pretty amazing correlation, actually. You'd think one time just out of complete dumb luck, the middle class would have benefited from a tax cut for the wealthy. Nope!

Not that it matters, fucking suckers like you aren't smart enough to read the data anyway.

Do you have evidence to the contrary? Not what you think will happen, not what makes sense to you, not what seems logical to you, but some actual evidence...based on history...or hell, even economic theory?

Most of those who are in the top tax bracket simply fell out of the right ****** darling, and don't know anything about economics at all :) There are a slew of reasons I'm not in the top tax bracket, I don't think my ability to read rather than guess is one of them.

Yes but unemployment rates sky rocket when this is done. Just like raising the minimum wage does nothing but cause businesses to cut their expenses by simply firing a person or two and having the others pick up the slack.

Hahahhahahahah haha ahahaha hahahaha ahaha, oh, sucker, you kill me. Who fed you that complete load of horseshit? When you swallowed it, did you say "mmmmm, can I eat more sh*t please?"

What a fucking joke you are.

When Clinton raised taxes on small businesses he shut down 10 of his agencies as a direct result.

Why do you lie? Life really that bad, sucker, that you'd make that up? Sad.

You're a fool if you think increasing the taxes on the people who employ others won't affect the ones they employ.

Sure, sucker. I've studied 500 years of economic data, you were suckered into beliving something because you're a fucking joke who still works for big brother at 30. Nothing hurts me more than someone who I laugh at 20 times daily calling me a fool. Oh no!

Bad parenting isn't bad government, sucker. I'm sorry mommy got hammered and ****** everything that moved, but that really wasn't government's fault, ace.

Nexa,

Actually I do have personal experience in this matter. I know numerous business owners that have chosen to lay off people rather than assume a greater tax liability. Every single one of them says the same thing; 'why should I grow the business only to have the govn take a larger share?'

My father owned 15 agencies in tx employeed 45 people. When Clinton raised taxes on small businesses he shut down 10 of his agencies as a direct result.

While I fully accept that anecdotal evidence plays a larger part in the average person's world view than empirical data, I would still encourage you to consider that it doesn't really have a place in a conversation about how the world at large works. People get canned for various reasons no matter who is in office, that doesn't mean that one type of tax structure doesn't work better over all...

I'd suggest the same to you, but really, how much better could you possibly get at licking your brother's ***?

Granted, but businesses make decisions based on what the govn is doing all the time. To suggest taxing the wealthy doesn't affect the rest of us for the worse...

Historically speaking, this hasn't been shown to be the case...ever...even if the sh*t hit the fan for your father or friends or whoever...if you look at nationwide historical data, it doesn't work out that way. If you'd like to prove the assertion that it has, please cite something other than your personal experience.
