Do you Obamunnists honestly believe that if Obama was white he would have been able to cobble together any support for the nomination? A Senator with less than one term under his belt, no legislative accomplishments worth noting and armed with nothing more than standard Democratic boilerplate rhetoric? Look at Joe Biden and Christopher Dodd. They are far more accomplished than Obama and are every bit as liberal and they couldn't get a sniff.

I submit not.

Between the two of them, they have almost as much charisma as my shoe.

Clinton won and he was the governer of a state with the worst school test scores in America at the time. He was also WHITE if memory serves. He had no washington experience at all, but the women loved him and thats all it took.

Republicans could learn from the democrats on this. They need to start nominating more younger, flashier candidates.

When you can't give a good reason, just use a measureless attribute that is completely subjective to cover your tracks! It's genius!

It's a silly question. Who knows?

Up until his win in Iowa, everyone assumed that Obama's race was going to be a big liability. So, yeah, I guess he would have still done all right. Would he have beat Clinton if he didn't get the black vote? Probably not. But he would have done better than Biden or Dodd. Hell, he probably would have still done better than Edwards.

I prefer Obama to Clinton or McCain. I just believe that Richardson had better credentials and experience to do the job.

Yes. If Bush's daddy wasn't President would he be bagging groceries in Odessa or Brownsville? If McCain's daddy wasn't an admiral, would he be doing time for date rape or DUI? If Regan wasn't a b movie actor, would he have been doing "mature" **** in Van Nuys or Reseda? If Hillary Clinton never married, would she be licking ***** or taking a strap on? Etc. etc. Being a successful politician in the US requires a certain degree of stupid luck to gain enough name recognition to have any chance. Obama's luck isn't that he's black, it's that in the race for an open Senate seat, his Republican opponent figured no one would find out he liked to put a leash on his wife and let other guys **** her.

It's not because he's (half)black. Being black has hurt him. If he had the same charisma and oratory skills as a white guy, he'd have still been nominated.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.
