Any "Dance" viewers here?Follow

I seem to recall someone last season making a thread about "So You Think You Can Dance." Since we canceled our Dish service last fall, this is the ONLY show I watch in a given week (thank you, BitTorrent.)

Unfortunately, BitTorrent seems to be letting me down today. If you saw the show last night, PM me please? I'm jonesing.

People who make this type of abymsal, putrid crap should never be allowed near a TV studio ever again on general principle.

Guilty. And agreed with Aadyn, put comfort out of her misery.

Highlights were definitely Will's solo, Will and Katie's Door routine and Chelsea doing anything.

I hate celeb/reality TV with a passion.

A friend of mine is a TV presenter, but as her shows only air in Canadia and Americaland I'd never seen any. She's quite a nice person, a witty conversationalist and fairly intelligent.

Last weekend I checked out her show on Youtube and have decided to scoop out my eyes with a shoe and never speak to her again.

Me too. But besides the one insipid judge, it's a show that actually uses young talented people to introduce kids to healthy things. Squeezed between the Samba and Hip-Hop, people are dancing the Pasodoble and Pas De Deux. It's the only semblance of culture left on primetime TV.

No joy on eztv either. I suspect the guy who does the encodes that are posted on alt.binaries.tv and BitTorrent and all these other places (OrenJi seems to be the encoders name)is on vacation or something.

I'd be using a the grumpy-looking smiley right now if I had premium.

As for the dancers, this year definitely belongs to the guys. There's not a single female on the show that I find very interesting. Katee is pretty good, but I completely stopped paying attention to her once the Katee/Joshua pairing broke up. I suspect it has something to do with her little emo breakdown during Vegas week, which I was glad the judges called her on because it had me rolling my eyes.

I like Mark as a performer, because he does really take on roles well, but I do suspect the winner this year will be one of the African-American guys. Will is by far the best technical dancer (and the ABS! Oh, how much do I love the wardrobe department this year for leaving him shirtless so much?) and Twitch is probably the best performer. Joshua is really a strong combination of the two (again, more love for wardrobe for putting him in tight pants every time he dances a Latin routine) and probably actually my favorite from early on. However, the grill annoys me, badly.

And Will is in the bottom 2 guys. America is officially stupid.

Mark stayed and Will went home.
