No you are. I have trained people to maintain US weapons from different militaries, particularly Israel and Australia.

Unless of course, you don't consider missles, planes, bomb, or engines as part of a weapon or weapon system.

While our government may share some weapon technology with some of our allies its a far cry from an open market available to any country with a bag full of money.

You realize it isn't handed out for free right? Raytheon, a leader in military weapons technology is on the payroll of about 15 different countries. They supply weapons, weapon systems, and shipboard technology to just about every modernized military. The US habitually sells decommissioned ships to various countries. While we can go back and forth about "well they are our allies!" the simple fact is weapons technology is a big business that is highly lucrative and the developers know it. Like all businesses they want all the viable customers they can get their hands on.

The business of weapons isn't as secure as I'd like it to be, but I'm not on the level where I can make these decisions.

No, there's a tiny list of countries companies *aren't* allowed to sell weaponry to.

The only reason US troops are shot with AK-47's instead of US made guns is that they're cheaper.

Cost. When the Soviet Union collapsed a lot of Russian armaments hit the world market at discount prices.

Have you ever heard that you never sell a weapon to an enemy that you don't have a bigger one to defeat it with?

It's controlled escalation.

Holy sh*t you wheren't faking the supidity.

The following other countries use the M1A1:

Australia
Egypt
Kuwait
Saudi

The arguably better German Leopard II is used by 16 countries, the Russian T80 is used by 8 countries.

The F15 has been sold directly to 25 Militaries.

I have personally helped hand over Ex Royal Navy ships to three other countries.

Have you looked into medication?

They have lots of stuff we've sold them. F-14s, Cobra attack helicopters, dozens of arty pieces, etc.

Begs the question of what Romania does with a ******* submarine. Spy on the evil Bulgarians to make sure Boris and Natasha don't sneak across the border in a Zodiac?

Ahh, that's ok then. "Sure we don't have shoes, but we have a command platform. Great success!"

The Admiral probably has shoes and was looking for a toy to play with, thats how it usually works.

The romanians did change much but the Chilians upped the standard 270 crew to 350+ the really squeezed those beds in.

HMS Norfolk is a Type 23 Frigate, they form the main escort frigate groups for the Royal Navy, so Current.

The main Strike Aircraft for the USAF is still the F15 so again current.

The joint strike fighter will also be sold to a number of countries, so future weaponry.
