Ah, good point. We likely have the same, plus our GST, but that's not guaranteed to go to road repairs and that's where they would've made gains as it's tacked on to the sale price.

Illinois has a percentage state gas tax and there's been valid questioning of exactly where in the hell it's been going since the windfall has essentially doubled in the past 16 months. On the other hand, I could write a book on what's goofy with current IL politics. It'd have a picture of Gov. Blagojevich on the cover.
