I saw Ricky Gervais tonight at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. I must say he was hilarious, two thumbs up. Smiley: lol

I could be mistaken, but I believe his act was the inspiration for one of the comedy acts in the GTA 4 in-game comedy club.

Both he and Kat Williams do skits in GTA 4 as themselves. IIRC.

Was it actually him? I couldn't remember. Awesome.

His stand-up is pretty hilarious. Was it "Politics"? "Fame"? "Animals"?

Anyway, that's nothing.

Tonight, I'm going to see Leonard Cohen! On his only UK date! And he's gonna die soon! I guess.

Anyway, I'm well chuffed.

I'm jealous of all of you people that get out. =/

I'm starting a month long holiday tomorrow, providing I make it through today.

I would give my right arm for a month long holiday.

Unless it was a rock-climbing holiday, in which case I'd give my left testicule.

Are you travelling anywhere during that month?

Just off home to Canada. It'll be great to just be relaxin' at home with my family and old friends.

Yay!

Technically it's what we call Aout, but even as a Frenchman in England, I don't get French holidays.

By the way, it was totally awesome last night. Leonard looked good, sounded great, and played all his the coolest songs. He was even cracking jokes: "Last time I was in London, was 15 years ago... I was 60 back then... Just a young kid full of wild dreams... And then I took Prozac... Ritalin... Paxil... I studied all the major religions... But despite all this, cheerfulness kept breaking through."

Awesome night.

Tonight, I'm going to see Leonard Cohen!

I would have bet thousands he was dead.
