I'll just sulk here in the corner and get drunk.

Join me in a glass of Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon?

Je vais mettre les baguettes et le fromage.

I usually pay about £5.50 for the merlot & 6.50 for the cab sav.

This weekend I rediscovered the delights of the Madeleine Angevine, a grape currently unique to England and the raw ingredient of the most insanely fruit-bowlish yet dry-as-a-bone white wine I've ever tasted.

At £10.95 a bottle direct from the Vineyard in Shropshire, I've tasted inferior whites upwards of £30.

If you ever get near the midlands I'll point you in the direction mate.

I love the French. Best place I ever worked (as a visitor). To celebrate, tonight I will re-read David Sedaris' story on learning French in Paris. Oh ya, and I'll build up a big wood block house with my 2 year old and rescue seven toys and knock it down.

Pffft Hulk Hogan could never beat up Andre the Giant.

But still that's a pretty good comparison for me. Smiley: lol

I agree, Hulk Hogan was such an over-hyped sissy.

I was more of an Ultimate Warrior man myself.

Everyone I know used to like Undertaker and I was like NO HIS BROTHER (Kain?? I have a bad memory) IS BETTER and then I didn't have very many friends for a while, but then everyone grew up and stopped watching wrestling.

Yeah, I quite liked the Undertaker, but I never knew he had a brother! The things you learn on this forum...

I also had the little WWF toys, and the ring, was pretty neat. And then I grew up too, like everybody else, which is quite a coincidence if you think about it.

Action Man did UN tanks?? Did they do Geneva Convention Action Treaties too?

I had loads of action man toys. Though in France they were called GI Joe. Or "GI Michel" as we used to call them.

Yeah, I used to love dinosaurs too. Was a bit too old when Jurassic Park got released, but I had some "regular" dinosaurs as a kid. My favourite was the triceratop.

Shame they got all extinct and whatnot.

Brachiosaurus (again, not sure on the spelling) followed by Triceratops were my favourites.
