Just found out about this internet "event" thing going on. It seems that Joss Whedon (creator/writer behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, etc.) got really really REALLY bored during the writer's strike... and decided to write a superhero musical. And decided to film and produce it using anyone he happened to be hanging out with.

He's going to be showing it for free over the course of several days (the first episode being shown on the 15th, second on the 17th, and last on the 19th) and then take it down on the 20th (with the option of a pay for download/DVD afterwards).

I like Joss Whedon's work, and think this is a nifty idea... so, who all is up for checking this out when it becomes available?

I'm interested. As far as fluff TV goes, I think Buffy and Firefly were very well done fluff. Lovely balance of humour, drama and pathos.

He had at least one musical episode of Buffy, I loved it, it worked really well.

He's just ripping off Stone & Parker's Hannibal: The Muisical.
