He will. The death penalty is not even close to the biggest killer in US prisons. Particularly for the kind of crime committed, prisoners take care of it. It's a far worse punishment then the modern American implementation of the death penalty.
Why not just save the money they're going to spend feeding, clothing and keeping him healthy and get it over with?

Sadly, a pretty good pension and his name on a Library in Texas.
I'd be interested in hearing more details of this case. I can't imagine a crime which merits a 4000 year sentence, no, not even garden variety child molestation. I can think of worse things at any rate, which also should not merit a 4000 year sentence.

It's not a 4000 years sentence but 40 consecutive life sentences for each of the assaults.

Do I really need to put "functionally equivalent" in front of "unjust 4000 year sentence" or something? It's not that difficult of a point to get.
