She's a singer and a quite talented one at that--Back to Black is a great album and was critically acclaimed. She's just an emotional clusterfUck and an addict, drugging and drinking, probably mentally ill with a recently imprisoned husband and at least one incident of singing racial slurs when she was messed up.

I wish the media would leave her the fUck alone, though. She's addicted to drugs, she's got mental health problems, she's pretty fUcked-up in general, the last thing she needs are paparazzis constantly at her door following her every move. So many talented singers/artists are drugs-addicts with lots of problem, I don't understand why they pick on her so much.
Anyway, I really like the girl, and she throw a mean punch too, so good on her.
Since we're into "celebrity kicking ************ I'd like to bring up the old Cantona doing karate kick at a fan. One of the greatest football players ever, and celebrated philosopher, doing what we'd all like to do sometimes

I love Amy Winehouse. She's a great artist with an unbelievable voice. Sadly, and she even admits in a recent Rolling Stone interview, she's young and bored and doesn't have her man (who's in jail for assault) to keep her straight. If she doesn't OD and die before he man gets out, I think she has a great future.
