Nader's point actually seems to be that Obama is acting "corporate", or in other words not far enough to the left to suit Nader (duh).

"I mean, first of all, the number one thing that a black American politician aspiring to the presidency should be is to candidly describe the plight of the poor, especially in the inner cities and the rural areas, and have a very detailed platform about how the poor is going to be defended by the law, is going to be protected by the law, and is going to be liberated by the law," Nader said. "Haven't heard a thing."
'Cause we all know that only black people are poor, and only poor people are black, and it's all very homogeneous. And just as a quibble, you're talking about a group so used the damned plural verb form.
I used to have a modicum of respect for Ralph Nader. Seems like a long time ago, now.
