Those guys are the ones who are providing the compound security in Cabinda. They are supposed to be quite bada$$, much along the same lines as RoKs (Republic of Koreans). I suspect I'll sleep well at night knowing they have loaded weapons and an abiding distrust of the natives.

I'm sure you'll be fine. I have few associations with Angola and that just triggered one. But it's definitely great that you are going. It's worth it to see parts of the world you wouldn't see otherwise.

This would amuse me however I think I would go with Charles Barkley it would be fun and I think he would be good at it.

He was a Sun. Sue me I love him and he never pulls punches he isnt always right but like Smash he is like 95% and I can live with that. ( PS I hate you for being right on the McCain middle thing, no he cannot go back to the middle like I thought as the only people who will give him dollars are the hard right).

As to the Angola thing I am the son of an airline pilot. I just really realized it but I have been to a ton of places but in reality seen none of them.

If you want to know how to get around on the Tram in DFW or ATL I am your bish but as far as seeing or knowing either town =(

I have been to probably 35ish+ of the states in the Union, Canada, Spain, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Mexcio, etc and know more about where to find the Starbucks in the airport then I do about any of the cities I have been in (well in most cases). I

My point I guess and as loosely as it compares with Totem's situation is that being in Angola and at the "airport/compound" isnt the same as actually say taking a visit. For your sake I hope you can stay away from the strife but aside from being able to click on your cellphone/gps device I was here and I can prove it you wont really know the place.

Of course you not actually getting to know the place maybe the point.
