Girl challenges grounding in court--and wins.

Quote:
The father, who is divorced but has legal custody of his daughter, cut off her Internet access after she chatted on websites he had tried to block. She then used a friend’s Internet connection to post inappropriate pictures of herself, Beaudoin said.

After discovering that, the father told his daughter she couldn’t go on the three-day school trip. According to Beaudoin, the daughter “slammed the door” and went to live with her mother, who was willing to let her take the trip.

However, the school wouldn’t allow the girl to go unless both parents consented or she obtained a court order. That prompted the girl, with her mother’s support, to take legal action against her father, culminating in Friday’s ruling.

Okay, seriously, WTF?

Like I said in the OoT, it's Quebec. Who cares? They have their own Language Police. They overdo everything there.

Smiley: nod

If the school didn't overdo permission requirements, the mother could have just signed the permission slip and their dysfunctional family life would have resumed without court interuption.

After this, I wonder if the father will try for physical custody. I wonder if the mom gave any punishment or consequences for the daughter posting inappropriate pictures.

This is the mother suing the father, not the daughter suing the father. Learn to read.

Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Poor kid. With parents like that, no wonder she's sending inappropriate pictures out and basically turning into a total **** up at the age of 12. When she's being used as a snorting tray for coke at 15, I hope her mom has spent ample time practicing her "shocked and dismayed" look.

i missed the part that mom encouraged her to do this. that would of ment DAD paid the bill so his daughter could take him to court. that just did not add up. thus my later comment in this thread.

Even so paying the bill is the least of issues going on here.

I think mommy was more than happy to sue her ex and this was a great excuse.

On the other hand, no wonder daddy had custody of the daughter!

She's a minor. The courts or Social Assistance would foot the bill if the mother didn't. It happened in Canada you fucking twit. Remember, we're all commies up here and pay for other people through our taxes. Why would you expect you court procedures to be the same as ours?

I'll remember that ignorance is an acceptable excuse next time I mess up on American laws. And no it's not free for everyone, it's free for anyone who can't afford it.
