Anyone join the National Guard lately?Follow

I'm looking for info, good or bad, thoughts, opinions, etc...specifically from people dealing with the NG directly. Army National Guard, that is.

Sister and brother-in-law are Air Force and Army NG. Or reservists. If there is a difference. They seem to "enjoy" it as much as you can, the pay is great and my sister is going to have med school paid for by the NG. They moved her, pay for her housing, etc. Granted he was in Cuba for a year, and she went to Kurdjistan (sp I'm sure but too lazy). They've never complained about it. How's that? I think a delicate flower like yourself would be much better off in the Brownies or maybe a nice Bible School.
