My 5 year old nephew has apparently been bitten by the gardening bug by this.

This time of year I imagine that's an awesome introduction to growing things and the miracles of nature.

Hannah planted carrots, cucumbers, and zucchini at school this year and will be bringing the carrot seedlings home to plant outside.

By this time next year, my son/daughter will have a green thumb (well muddy hands from digging), an ant farm and a mason jar full of lightning bugs. I will of course be the one running around catching everything.
