Step away from Texas.

Away.

Trust me, I'm trying. I thought marrying a guy in the military that it would be mean we'd get out of here quickly, but 4 years later we are being transferred to ANOTHER base in Texas.

Tell Mr. Katie to get promoted. That's when all the sweet postings come flowing in.

He did! New stripe, just this state has it in for me. It refuses to let it's death grip loose on me.

My post pointed out my witnessing of multi-colored lighting and and my sheer laziness at not having installed my A/C unit yet.

so nYah

I was watching the storm Wednesday from my front porch when suddenly a gust of wind had leaves spinning overhead. I then spent rest of the storm in my basement. I'm a chicken when it comes to a chance of falling trees and broken glass flying all over the place.

I just got half of the dinning room clean, that has no dinning table but 2 computer desks and a sewing center in it and so far all we done is open windows and turn on a few fans. Too many bins and a old chair that needs to go into the basement to get A/C in the window.

Upstairs we need to pick up dirty clothes and old newspapers before we can put in the A/C, but so far a fan keeps us cool. Need to lower temp setting on water bed too.

Meanwhile I'm waiting for the cable guy to show up. Got one year contract on Trible play that is just 6 dollars more then what I paid for cable and internet. He late but I figure by scheduling for morning, I should see him before 5 pm.

edit because it helps to add a verb or two.

Well, just remember that no contraceptive device is 100% safe.

Weather's hot enough to here, at a balmy 80-83. To be fair though, anything in the 90's has the possibility of setting records for us.

If you check out this screenshot of my desktop you will see that it got up to 100 degrees this afternoon. Bleh.

My wife is a real trooper though - she walked to the bus stop to go to work because she didn't want me to take the baby out in the heat and drive her.
