How can Clinton supporters look themselves in the mirror?Follow

After the outburst inside the DNC hearing this afternoon, I've lost all respect for anyone who still supports Hillary.

Harold Ick looks like he lost a lot of hair during the day. I can't say there was much surprise that Clinton is going to that this to the credential committee.

Shamefully at the rate this is going it looks like 4 years of McShame.

I like to move out of the US before January, unless Obama somehow is elected.

My guess is for a 50/50 split or else 50/50 in FL and the 69/59 compromise in MI.
Final result: A full set of FL delegates, each with only a half vote and the 69/59 Compromise in MI combined with a half-vote penalty for them as well.

New Delegate totals:
Obama: 2053
Hillary: 1876.5

Magic number for nomination: 2118

Obama is short 65 delegates now from nomination (was 41 shy) and Clinton is short 241.5 (was 243). The entire thing was much ado about nothing and didn't change the math at all. Then again, Clinton netted 25 delegates today which is easily her best single day this entire primary season.

Hillary for the Independent Party! Rah! Rah! Rah!

Given what we know about black demographics (sporting events), if Hillary wins (steals) the nomination blacks will riot. If Obama loses the general election blacks will riot. And if Oblackman wins in November the blacks will riot in celebration. We lose no matter what the outcome is.

:/

C'mon, what is to say black rioting will be limited to sporting events?

Hillary ain't dumb enough to try to run as an independent (I'd hope).

Regardless of the outcome of the presidental general election, it's pretty much certain that the Democrats wouldn't need an independent Clinton to caucus with them in the Senate. Unlike Lieberman in 2006, Clinton wouldn't be invited to join their reindeer games after a party shift.

I was severely disheartened after listening to this on Friday. In every instance named, the nominee who took his dispute all the way to convention not only lost the nomination, but his party lost the general. Hillary needs to bow out gracefully this week, or I really fear for Obama come November.

It's all a matter of perception. Right or wrong, people see the inability of one candidate to establish control over the other and they see it as a sign of weakness. If you aren't strong enough to overwhelmingly carry your own party, you aren't strong enough to carry the country. Mccain is really not a strong candidate, but he has a much better chance of winning the election even following the Bush Presedency than I would have ever given him previously simply because of the unrest in the democrat camp. If either Hillary or Obama had bowed out even 2 months earlier, the democratic party probably would have been unbeatable with either nominee. As it stands now they are hurting. Badly.

Incorrect. It's not 1958.

Yeah, but what bearing did the creation of NASA that year really have on party politics?

I don't see how pointing out the obvious is racist, Planks. How many times have we've seen cars burned, buildings torched, cinderblocks dropped on truck driver's heads when the black populace finds something either disagreeable or celebratory?

Rodney King? Riot, loot, burn the very stores that serve your neighborhood to the ground. Your pro ball team wins? Riot, burn cars, clash with police. Your pro ball team loses? Riot, burn cars, clash with police. Cops (even black ones) acquitted of wrongdoing? Riot, burn cars, clash with police. Hurricane in your neighborhood? Loot, riot, (can't burn stuff, thankfully, because everything is all wet) and clash with police.

Based on what we know and have experienced, why would the election be any different? Like I said, Odumbsh1t loses the nomination to the Hellbeast, there'll be riots, car burnings, clashes with police. If he loses in November, there'll be riots, car burnings, and clashes with police. If he wins in November, there'll be riots, car burnings, and clashes with police-- and probably 5 Finger Discount Days at the local TV salesmart --all in celebration of this historic event. Lol, I'd say they might couch in terms of reparations for previous and egregious wrongs against their ancestors.

Heh, if I'm so racist, let's place a bet. I'll put up $50 that one of the above occurs and you, in your faith in the black American populace, will bet $50 that there'll be peace and quiet regardless what happens. I'm confident the black populace won't let me down. They haven't so far.

Oh no no no, I'm not putting my faith just in the black populace rioting. I'm putting my faith in the liberal educated elite rioting (at the very least protesting) the college liberals rioting, the teenage population rioting (at least the ones who care) and other ********************* supporters rioting.

Can't we all just get along?

It just all depends on which of those three things happen. I think if there were to be riots because of this it would be on a scale.

Loosing the nomination > Loosing in November > Winning in November

I think if he looses the nomination many will feel cheated the most because Hillary should have given up long ago.

This of course could be wrong depending on what happens in the future. This could be another close race(Obama vs. McCain). We could see something akin to Florida shanannigans like we did with Bush vs. Gore. I'd like to think the election process has learned from that incident but I doubt it. It won't be hanging chads again but it'll be something else if it's another close race.

If something like that happens again then "Loosing in November" could be a day I need to scope out the local stores.

I don't think Obama winning in November will 'cause anything major.

That is true. A number of Hollywood luminaries threatened to leave if Dubya was elected and not one of them made good on their promise. How typical of the liberal elite.

Tricky,
Think of the "O-fill in the blank" insult as a way to ingratiate Barry into closed and tight knit Irish society. Look at it that he is being made into an honorary Black Irishman.

However, that being said, what other moniker can we give him? All of you have been pounding on the Dubya-is-the-dumbest-president-evah button and yet here is this vaunted intellectual who apparently doesn't watch the news or pay attention to what the present administration has done. Enticing Iran with WTO status? C'mon. I thought he was all about hope and change and change we can believe in, hopefully. All I'm seeing is, "Me too! Me too!" Perhaps Obama's campaign slogan should be modified to, "Hope. For. No. Change. Stay the Course." And, of course, "Kill Whitey."

I figure 4 more years of McDubya and we'll be well on the way to totalitarianism. Sorry I'm move to somewhere that my right of free speech is respected.

I always wanted to spend some time in Norway, Ireland the UK and France. I'm also looking at going to Canada, but more as a tourist while going to SF conventions.
