I'm fed up with Foxnews.com and their recent attempts at being half news half People.com. Hell, one of the "Features and Faces" sections discusses Jenna Jammisons (sp?) sexuality. Most of the stories are ok, but it seems to slant more and more to sensationalism than to actual reporting.

Any suggestions?

For actual news news, I use BBCNEWS, and if you're just interested in national news, you can link directly to their US news page. I usually use CNN, though, simply because I like their business section, though they do have some of the entertainment celebrity crap on their as well.

You could just go straight to Google News or, if you prefer directly to one of the subsections (World, national, election, etc).

Option one.

Option two.

Those are the only places I get my news, because in all reality I really don't care about stories that affect people outside of my monkeysphere.

You are a conservative? Why not National Review Online?

I also use CNN.com's main page for my home news, though the sensationalism does suck. When I want to find out about the Iceland earthquake and the breaking news is Rachel Ray's Hizbollah scarf, I start looking elsewhere.

Dang, Jenna is looking rode hard and put away wet. That is a seriously rough looking woman.

Here's what she says, "'I just got a text from one of my friends on my way over here saying that she wanted to go to bed with me," a disillusioned Jameson told Pop Tarts at last week’s Maxim "Hot 100" bash. "I think one of the big misconceptions everyone — even my friends — have of me is that I’m gay, but I am really not. I’m totally hetero."

Jameson retired from the X-rated industry last year and has since moved into mainstream acting — but she says it's been a struggle to prove herself.

"Being taken seriously as a woman has been the hardest challenge to overcome in show business," Jenna said. "It took me a long time to make my company successful, and even now it isn’t exactly easy.'
"

Of course eating another girl's snatch on film would never confuse anybody about her sexual orientation, right? Or the fact that being taken seriously as a woman has nothing to do with the fact that she has taken multiple cacks at once. After all, Meryl Streep and Jessica Tandy developed their serious acting chops in the **** industry.
