Go for it. You've been analyzing and overanalyzing at this point. If you don't take this, you're going to be second-guessing yourself for eternity.

I got the wife manufactured diamonds for wedding gift jewelry, and then again for our first anniversery. They look great, and are of course indistinguishable from "real" diamonds. **** deBeers.

You can't take the misses?

A month isn't long to be away, truckers sometimes wish that's all they had to be away for.

the money sounds nice, but the life is hard on your familey. i had a few frineds that worked the offshore oil platforms in the gulf. same deal, 30 on, 30 off. NONE of them could hold down a steady relationship, but you may have a hand up on them being you already have a committed wife. every last one of them kept telling me its only for a little while. just long enough to buy a house and then they will find a real job. lasti checked, they are still saying that. one is in his mid 40s now and still single.

personally, there isnt enough money in any job to tempt me to not be able to see my familey every day. but every one is differant. there is a bid in my job to work in iraq for close to 200k a year, almost half of which would be tax free. i wouldnt do it for 10 times that. you only get one shot and i dont want to spend mine chasing money. i want to spend mine barbequing in my back yard.

I'm assuming it wouldn't help since he works for daddy.

Reportedly.
