was this weekend, but by all appearances it was squashed before it was ever born. Just to be clear, nobody is going to be in Vegas this upcoming weekend?

No, sorry Kastigir, would have loved to hang out with you but it just wasn't in the cards (cards, vegas, see what I did there!?). It was just bad timing unfortunately, but hopefully I'll be able to make it to wherever we do it next year. I'm still really wanting to get to Vegas (I've never been) and since they always seem to be doing really great deals on hotel rooms, maybe we can do Vegas in 2009. Maybe Smash and I will end up getting a place with some land and we can have a tent city weekend, haha.
To anyone who goes: Have a fantastic time, I'm totally jealous, and take lots of pictures!!!

If I weren't busy moving to Washington I'd go to Vegas, it's but six hours away.

Nexa, I think you misunderstand the point of this post. I'm merely confirming that I need not feel guilty about canceling, this trip, as there will be none in Vegas to see. I imagine Vegas will be exceptionally boring with noone to share it with.

Surely there's some woman (or you know, man, I'm assuming there) you know who would respond favorably to "Hey, wanna to go Vegas? I had plans that fell through, but I still feel like going." Or maybe that only works for me.
