I present you with the Friday thread!

Long weekend, for most I think, so what's on the menu?

Mr. T gets back tonight from Toronto (I'm going to be playing EQ though so DSD can get her epic), tomorrow we have a birthday party to go to for one of Mia's little friends, Sunday I hope to get a playhouse built in the yard for the kids and Monday, I dunno...maybe a day trip to the zoo?

I need to go back to bed now.

It's a bank holiday Monday, so three-day week-end for us living in the UK!!

My girlfriend is away in Norway for the week-end, I've got my new graphics card, RAM, some weed, some skunk, and a fridge filled with stuff, most of which is some form of chocolate, and I therefore intend to shut the curtains and play AoC for 3 days straight.

I might have to take a break on Sunday, so I can go play footy, as well as attending my mum's baptism. At the tender age of 58, she's about to become the Church of England's newest recruit. It's a slight disgrace to her parent's communist beliefs, but they'll survive. Or take up arms and man the barricades. Either way is good.

New England is slated for three days of nice weather. Smiley: smile

I'm imagining a short, but exciting 3-day get-away to some exotic place, but since we were out of town last weekend, throwing money around like candy, this weekend we get to be stay-at-home paupers. []

I need to do some minor repairs on my bike, get a few more plants into the ground, and there is always wood to be split and stacked.

I guess my exotic get-away will entail a visit to the virtual fiery depths of The Rift of Nurz Ghashu in Middle-Earth. Smiley: tongue

No big plans here. Son's ball game on Sat. and then get out and enjoy some of the nice weather for the rest of the weekend. We'll probably grill some burgers Monday and maybe head to the park for a while.

I'm also going to get in some EQ2.

I'll probably try to stretch the legs on the new computer some more. Really enjoying Bioshock. I have some leveling to do in WoW too.

I plan to run around like a chicken without it's head at Balticon, until someone ties me down in a wheelchair. By Monday I'll be almost dead. I expect to be unable to get out of bed Tuesday.

Saturday I also have to run a small get together with people to discuss ideas of how to make conventions more accessible to the disable.

Picture will be posted after I get film developed and scanned. May also have short video to upload of the madness.

nothing much this weekend. With Tares and a few other guildies help I'm going to try and get my group epic done tonight(thank you!). Gaming wise this weekend is for raids, some tinkering, and maybe finish up my diety quest.

Sunday the fam is headed to a birthday party at a park. Otherwise, we're keeping it quiet and close to home.

Today I will be making a cake, because Saturday I will be hosting a small get-together for Tristan's first birthday. Sunday I will no doubt be finding something for Tristan and I to do outside the house so Mr. Ambrya can get some homework done, and Monday hopefully I'm gonna get some "me" time. Hopefully.

Holy Hell Amb, Tristan is 1 already??? Happy Birthday to him! Is he starting to toddle yet? Once he gets his walking legs, it's all over. Be prepared for lots of heart attacks, bumps and bruises, etc. Good times, good times.

He'll be 1 this coming Tuesday. He took his first steps a little before he turned 9 months, and started walking the week before he turned 10 months. He has also, over the past couple months, managed to accumulate a collection of bruises that makes me slightly embarrassed to go out in public with him, afraid I'm gonna get glowers from passers-by.

Now he's working on talking. Kill me now.

Presently he's beside my chair desperately trying to reach my keyboard and do to it what mommy does to it, which makes trying to type a post interesting. If there are any random characters herein that I didn't manage to delete, I beg your pardon.

Welcome to my world. It took me almost 10 minutes to type the last post, as Ashe kept trying to move my hands out of the way so he could type his own message. It's a big reason why I'm on the boardsless. I'm tired of arguing over whos turn it is to use the keyboard.
As for bumps and bruises, I keep joking that I'm waiting for DSS to show up at my doorstep any day now. The other day Ashe managed to get a rug burn on his face from missing a step on the stairs and face planting, then carefully climb down our front steps outside, only to stand up and face plant into the sidewalk. Haha, that reminds me of "messages from Noah" when Nad was playing WoW with us.

The stuff legendary French comedy was made from.

Should he do that in our country, he'd become a huge star overnight. Mais oui, ca c'est du génie americain!!

Wonder if that's how Jerry Lewis got his start.

We wanted to bury him in the Pantheon, but then we picked Benny Hill instead :(

He had more girls.

Well, thank goodness for that, since he's still alive.
