Ah, who am I kidding? There's about a dozen lame posters he could sound like. Saying "your all sad peeople in ur basements" doesn't exactly set you apart.

Dude, I'm supposed to be a typical white voter. I make under $30K a year, I live in the foothills of Appalachia, I'm white as far back as we bothered to keep records of the generations (they seem to begin with the first generation after my family came to the US; no one talks about great great great grandmother being Mandan.) Going strictly by who my family is, I should be out there campaigning for McCain. (Don't tell cousin Gary I blocked emails from the ND GOP. It will cause problems at the next family reunion.)

I think Obama is awesome. He's not the Messiah or anything, but he's the most American politician we've had running for POTUS in decades. I've been pleased to be supporting him for a presidential run since 2006 since my fiance first showed me his 2004 DNC speech.

It's called: Education, stupid! I have a university degree. I've taken classes like Bible in the Black Church and political science. I believe in evolution, I'm pro-choice, and I suspect McCain has Alzheimer's disease.

Why can't Hillary get the vote of educated people like me? Why couldn't she close the deal for us?

Why can't McCain get the vote of young people like me? Why is he so old? Why isn't he dead yet?

Have you ever even touched the Koran, much less read it? Have you even glanced at the Suras which talk about war and violence: "Fight only those who fight you" and whatnot; the prescriptions for violence that I've seen in the Koran are extremely qualified and those conditions are difficult to meet. There's also plenty of religious material and historical interpretations of those Suras which allow for quite liberal amounts of violence. I would be shocked if you've read any of them, much less have a valid or charitable method of interpretation. There's also the tomes and tomes of material out there of secondary interpretations. It's bigger than some passages you pull out of the book in order to abstract a religion of violence and terror.

sh*t man, I'm not even an expert on Islam; my most extensive religious knowledge is related to the spread of Buddhism and the various historical developments thereof (very interesting actually.) Compared to that, in an academic setting, my knowledge of Islamic theology is almost non-existent, but the information that I'm telling you is not hard to find. You could get a clarification of the five pillars (one of which is Jihad, as well as it's division into the greater and lesser types) in less than five minutes on google.

Mel Brooks was on NPR this morning talking about Young Frankenstein going to Broadway. He was as kooky as ever, and it amused me that the interviewer didn't know quite how to react to him at times.

After adding the link, it shocked me to see how old he looks, God keep him.
