We used to allow anonymous everywhere.
We slowly shut off where they could post, removing from most forums, then comments, and news posts, and eventually everywhere, due to spamspamspamspam.
Once we/I built all the tools to search out and destroy spam accounts, Anonymous was too much of a pain to leave available. If anyone has a problem where they can't post at all, they can always email somebody (who isn't me) to get that resolved.
Our last influx of Anonymous posts was our OGaming comment import for the EQ2 site.
We slowly shut off where they could post, removing from most forums, then comments, and news posts, and eventually everywhere, due to spamspamspamspam.
Once we/I built all the tools to search out and destroy spam accounts, Anonymous was too much of a pain to leave available. If anyone has a problem where they can't post at all, they can always email somebody (who isn't me) to get that resolved.
