Really, Asylumites farming up towards their 10k on the OOT is a time-honoured tradition. There's just more activity on that page, it's not like you have to randomly spam. Although Dana has said that he doesn't read any posts of a poster except for the last couple of hundred, so if you don't give him TIME to get to know your style in the last couple of hundred, your title will be lacking.
Also said that if you spam the last few hundred, the title will reflect that detrimentally. But yeah, the balancing consideration is he's only going to hand out a couple more 10k titles. Apparently.
I think that drugs that are currently illegal should be available to adults who sit a test that gives them a license to buy them from chemists/pharmacists. The test should show a pretty thorough understanding of the nature of the processes of addiction, and tolerance. Some understanding of brain and body biochemistry when it comes to that particular drug. Also any other relevant information about the real positive effects and negative drawbacks of that drug. The percentage probability of it triggering psychosis, for example, what that would entail, etc. Safety issues around things like what not to mix with, how much water you should be drinking with it, etc, etc. First-aid information, and what to do in case of overdose, etc, etc.
I wouldn't even keep the "hard" drugs illegal. I would have them available from chemists too, to people who had passed the license test,
and who had agreed as part of their drug licence to attend a psychiatrist or psychologist at least once a month, for the duration that the license was current. This is on the theory that people who still want to do those drugs after knowing there dangers, need to have their heads examined.
No really. They have to have some sort of issues if they need or really want outside substances like that to give them a good feeling.
