An ex just called and said she enjoyed the premiere of the new SatC movie. (I was given a friend's +1 ticket but it didn't appeal to me and my ex was a huge fan of the TV show).

She said "The event was amazing. . . As for the movie: it wasn't Shit". High praise indeed. Smiley: dubious

Enjoy the hype.

Meh. I'm not even sure I'll rent it.

It was fun while it lasted.

NPR did an interview with SJP a couple weeks ago, it was interesting.

I enjoyed the show, and hope to see the movie on the screen (though I'm sure I'll need to find a girlfriend to go see it with).

I like shoes.

I'm single, so I shouldn't have to see this for a good long while.

Having seen the television show, I can't imagine any reason to make a movie about the same people.

Physically, Charlotte.

Mentally... probably Miranda, but Carrie is ok too.

My wife never liked "Sluts in the City" so I'll never have to watch this trash. Yay!

The brunette is the only one who looks decent more often than not. The redhead can either look pretty good or goblin scary depending on which direction the light is coming from. The other two... eugh.

I can't tell you thing one about their personalities. Then again, I've never seen Sarah Jessica Parker successfully act out the role of anyone with a personality so I doubt I'm missing much.

There's a great episode where she marries a Broadway actor who's widely known to be gay, then is rumored to be cheating on him constantly. I think it's called "Beard Science".

Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

My favourite episode is the one where they all have some sort of problem with their respective relationships, but then solve them all by discussing it at length and buying shoes.

Closely seconded by the episode where Carrie stares quizically at her laptop screen.

I love that one.

Please let this thread die so I can continue to ignore the very existence of this show and the women who star in it.

That's kinda scary. My hands don't look nearly THAT old, and I'm pretty sure I got a couple years on SJP.
