Jonwin is trying to stay ahead of my post count and I can't allow that. What I need is a topic that is sure to not interest him at all so I can sprint pass him and leave him in the dust.

So, Allafeme's what should we chat about? I'm open to any ideas that the male posters will stay away from in groves.

Body hair removal. Do you mix and match approaches, stick with just one? It's summer season now...most people are paying more attention to this important issue.

FTW!

I been putting off hair removal the last few days as, I really hate to shave and needed new blades.

After looking at the cost of refills for my Venus, I went with disposable razors for the first time.Much as I love my Venus, I just couldn't justify the price of the refills. Not even if My dad has kept the 10k share in Gillette, that my mom had inherited from her father.

I prefer the results of waxing my Legs, but can't stand to do more then half of a leg at a time. Plus I hate the mess of having to remove the tiny fragments of wax that don't want to come off the first time.

I much prefer waxing, but find it incredibly tedious and tiresome. Someday, I hope to be making enough money to justify having it done at least occasionally at a salon.

I have the same dream to someday get someone else to wax my legs for me.

I use to have an Epie or whatever it was called and us it as needed, even though I barely could take the pain, when it pull the hair around my ankles.

The cord broke and I never got around to repairing it. When I couldn't find the cord for it after I moved it ended up in the trash.

Do those work as well as waxing? I've never used one, but always wondered. It's basically like super-fast-tweezing really, right? One would think it would last as long as waxing if that's the case.

I tried waxing once at about 17, all's I managed to do was ruin my mom's sauce pan.

I shave - it sucks. Is there permanent hair removal?

My husbands grandma, when I first met her, had no hair on her legs. She musta been in her late 60's or so. She said she hadn't had leg hair for years. Kinda strange.

I wax. The only thing I will have done at the salon are my eyebrows since I know I'll ***** up the shaping.

But otherwise, I wax everything else on my own. Hubby helps sometimes (i.e. he likes to rip the strip off - masochistic bastige).

I helped wax my wife's legs. It was OK. The professional was much neater (missed fewer spots) but I'll improve with time.

I have a feeling that they may prefer waxing, but I don't have time for that, if I'm going out tonight. Therefore today at least I'll shave. If I have time before the convention, I'll wax, since I plan to spend some time in the Hotel's heated pool.

I bled all over my knees today, from just a few nicks. I'm going to buy a waxing kit next time I'm shopping.Smiley: glare

Jonwin, it doesn't have to be a Dear Abby advice column. There our things I know about, that you aren't skill in.

Take house hold repairs for an example. Why, I may not have the health to do repairs around here, I do know more about how to do things around the house.

You're just lucky I can't handle being around the dust from the plaster, or I would have torn out some of the walls around here. You never saw my parents house before the walls were all done. I spent a lot of time helping with the remodeling there.

Then there is the fact that while you have the MSW, I actually had to raise 3 kids and rather proud of how they turn out. Just giving advice on how to nourish a child's artistic skills and cooking are two things, that I am good at that you are not.

Plus I'm crazier then you so there.Smiley: eek
